Anthropic has unveiled vital changes to its acceptable usage policy for the AI model Claude. These refined guidelines primarily aim to combat various forms of abuse directed at the AI and address new threats. Among the prohibitions are actions such as deception, interference with elections, and attempts to weaponize the AI. Furthermore, human supervision is now a mandatory requirement for all AI applications, ensuring safety and accountability in technology.

Anthropic has updated Claude AI’s usage policy to prohibit repeated abusive behaviour, election interference, deceptive campaigns, surveillance and weapons-related software, while clarifying that everyday user frustration is allowed.

"Claude's ability to end these interactions will remain the primary enforcement mechanism," policy states
