A study of AI/SI technology used today

Dear Editor, To begin, I would like to note that Artificial Intelligence dates back to the days of the Industrial Revolution in Britain, from about 1760 onwards. The President of the United States suggested it be changed to Super Intelligence (SI) because the word artificial makes the technology appear to be fake. I too believed it should be natural intelligence (NI) simply because it requires human input as well. AI means the performance by a computer system of tasks that normally require human intelligence. The word artificial (adj) as indicated before, by itself means – made as a copy of something natural. So, whether it is AI, SI, or NI, the problem is how the models and agents use the technology to make the world a better place to live. The word artificial doesn’t mean the technology is fake, but one must look at the people behind this type of technological advancement in societies around the world. The computer is only as good as the person operating or directing it to perform task(s) that need to be done. The silicon chip is the electronics world of wonders. It is used as the brain of the personal computer, and in many other functional areas such as automobile engineering, aerospace science, drone manufacturing and warfare, commerce and industry, environmental science, and radar installations etc. AI is a part of Digital Electronics – the newest advancement of the microcomputer. This development and advancement has changed the world of computer science and technology. It also brings new development in business and industrial skills, and changes the social lives of people in society. Benefits of AI: Artificial Intelligence plays an important role in e-commerce, where telemarketing plays a vital role in seeking customers for business and industries. It will provide new investment in advanced technology across the globe and bring more jobs to the population. AI data centres are making a fortune – bringing a lot of money into the community and will dominate the way we think in future. Today robotics science is helping aid management in business. Robots are participating in sports competitions in China and other countries. Robots running in races, serving food in restaurants and homes, as well as entertaining people in businesses. These machines will be up against humans in sports Olympics soon. Self-driving cars are on the move in many countries. Drone technology is also on the rise protecting nations and the environment. Dangers of AI: Critical reviews from top world leaders: President Trump, President Xi, King Charles and Pope Leo – all suggested it must be properly regulated. AI/SI is a threat to mankind and modern societies across the globe. At this moment AI is self-regulatory. Machines are replacing human intelligence in the workplace, as well as the people who introduced the technology also control it. The technology also involve hacking of personal information and spying on one country against the other. There are no new Federal regulations on AI. The local community must be protected against AI companies’ cyberattacks. The Pope warns against AI – stating that man must not be replaced by machines. President Xi also stated that AI should be under human control. It supports biological weapons harmful to the public. It’s not regulated to prevent countries from developing nuclear weapons. AI is closely related to social media and the internet – the use of smart phones, voice recording, flat screen television, password identification and cartoon facial images can collect information and pass them on to other businesses for advertising purposes. AI hackers can easily hack your information using OpenAI and spear phishing. AI and regional exam results: In a comprehensive information report with CXC regional representatives on Anguilla in June 2026 on overall examination results, it was stated that about 128 students used AI information to answer exam questions – a breach CXC said will not allowed to continue in future. In India, students’ concern over an examination paper leak caused the former education minister to resign, another breach, where students were using smart phones messaging during exams. Final Conclusion: I’d like to conclude that AI/SI is one of the most highly developed advanced digital electronics technologies in the world today. The silicon or microchip development used in computer science industries is truly amazing, and has been extremely successful in aiding business communication, medical science, community language teaching, environmental science, atmospheric conditions and weather patterns etc. New investments in AI advanced technology will bring more jobs to the population. AI data centres can help diversify economies with medical benefits in future. A data centre for St. Maarten will help with participation in robot sports Olympics, which will help sports tourism. Countries involved in this AI/SI technology are India, South Korea, Malaysia and USA. Getting help from these countries is extremely important to help build a healthy economy.
